Estimator In-training
Balius Surfaces is seeking an Estimator for full-time employment. As an Estimator, you would build bids for jobs using floor plans and specifications provided by the Architect. The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
- Read blueprints and specifications from Architects to understand the scope of work and prepare estimates using Floorright Estimating software.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, and General Contractors on estimates
- Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
- Build relationships with General Contractors and vendors
- Anticipate and Avoid potential issues regarding pricing, materials and scheduling
- Attention to detail.
