Communications & Outreach Intern

The Communications & Outreach Intern will assist both the Communications Coordinator and the Education & Outreach Coordinator in managing all communication and outreach strategies for Mobile Baykeeper. Interns with a background/interest in marketing, public relations, communications, journalism, and/or graphic design are encouraged to apply. Interns will be expected to do the following:

  • Assist with the creation and design of promotional materials (flyers, brochures, posters, etc.)

  • Assist with the production of print and digital newsletters

  • Write blog posts and press releases

  • Assist with the management of all social media accounts (Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube)

  • Attend community outreach events

  • Provide general office assistance
