Accounting/Bookkeeping Clerk
Fast paced and high energy law firm looking for a candidate that is self motivated but also able to take direction. Must be familiar with QuickBooks. They must possess a go getter attitude with strong organizational skills. Willing to pay more for experience. The following are some of the duties candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintain client trust account ledgers
- Prepare bank deposits for operating and trust accounts using QuickBooks
- Accounts receivable, including post client payments in billing software
- Accounts payable, including post client advances in billing software
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions on a daily, monthly, annual basis
- prepare bank reconciliations for review and approval
- Prepare and review daily and monthly financial reporting, including Balance Sheet
- Payroll, Weekly and Semi Monthly, including all payroll taxes, insurance and all other withholdings
- Pension plan contributions, reports per pay period and annually for partners
- Third party billing programs for billing insurance claims
- Gather information for CPA as needed, including year-end tax preparation through Trial Balance.
