Part Time Summer Intern
Project Outreach Gulf Coast is a nonprofit that seeks to create genuine relationships between individuals with disabilities and their community. Our vision is to spread the awareness and understanding of disabilities throughout the community by initiating school service clubs, hosting community wide events, and forming relationships through personal experiences.
The following is the outline of the job description for the Summer Intern for 2018:
- Preparation
for events
- Interns
would help the executive director with planning for all upcoming 2018-19 school
year. Planning would include

year launch for current and new chapters
- Ensure we have all documents ready for the new schools and current chapters.
- Shooting 2 Change 2019
- Week of Change 2019

would help the executive director with planning for all upcoming 2018-19 school
year. Planning would include
- Upgrade
logistics and infrastructure
- Help with set up for online giving for future donors
- Help with setting up sponsor systems for ordering event shirts
- Update website to modern images of events and current board meeting.
- Fundraising
- Continue to research grants or organizations that could be possible donors
- Work with director on donation materials, presentations, and possible meetings for summer and fall
- Research
- Looking into schools in Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida for possible school systems for Project Outreach
- Look at other programs and compare and contrast other similar organizations.
- Other
- Any activity that we feel is helpful for Project Outreach Gulf Coast or any other chapters.
