This is an entry level Student Trainee (Personnel Psychologist) developmental position under the Department of the Navy Pathways Program located at the Naval Education and Training Professional Development Center (NETPDC), located in Pensacola, Florida. The organization develops and produces enlisted advancement examination and examination-related products and executes the Navy Enlisted Advancement System (NEAS). The selected individual will serve in a developmental capacity in the Exam Development Division. Student Trainee may be assigned specific projects to complete and may rotate between various working areas. Based on established policies, student will carry out assignments specific to the program area assigned. The specific duties assigned to this position will vary.
Qualifications/Eligibility: Position requires the individual to actively be working on the completion of a Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology through an accredited Graduate program. The 2018 starting salary is set at $35,854 per year (GS-0199-07) with maximum pay of $63,600 per year (GS-0180-12. This position will be hired at the GS-0199-07, and have full-performance level of GS-0180-12. Additional information related to the General Schedule (GS) pay scale and other federal government benefits can be found at OPM.gov. Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret Security clearance – Must be a U.S. Citizen.
