Alabama Department of Revenue Internship

To be considered for an ADOR Internship, you must:
  • Be a sophomore, junior or senior in good standing at a four-year, accredited college or university;
  • Have a declared major in accounting or in a business-related degree (such as business administration, public administration, finance, marketing, management, or related field); and
  • Have successfully completed a minimum of five courses in the field of your major.

Paid summer and part-time annual internships are available in Montgomery at ADOR’s central office, as well as across the state at our Taxpayer Service Centers, located in:
  • Florence
  • Huntsville
  • Gadsden
  • Birmingham
  • Tuscaloosa
  • Montgomery
  • Auburn/Opelika
  • Dothan
  • Mobile

As an ADOR intern, you will work in one of the following tax divisions:
  • Individual and Corporate Tax
  • Sales and Use Tax
  • Property Tax
  • Business and License Tax
  • Motor Vehicle
  • Collection Services
