Summer College Intern - IT Business Intelligence Analytics

At NextEra Energy, we are taking our Business Intelligence & Analytics Team to the next level. These talented employees are the drivers of analyzing, designing, developing, testing, debugging, implementing and integrating new or existing BI & Analytic applications into the technical infrastructure and existing business processes. This includes the creation of reporting, dashboards and analytical data structures for application reporting and end user data consumption allowing them to identify trends and insights. In this role you will work with Business Intelligence (BI) and analytical tools and systems that help end users analyze data in a data warehouse, data mart, data lake or other data storage facility. You will also add value by designing and writing scripts and updating processes.

Employees in the role will be provided mentoring and practical hands on experience for relevant career-related activities encountered in the student’s area of study or specialization. To be considered for this position the applicant must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor’s degree or higher. Candidate must also have a current GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).
