Education Internship

The Education Intern supports the initiatives of the Education Department. The intern will assist with the development and implementation of education initiatives that augment and extend the reach and value of ATL PBA, PBS Kids, WABE and NPR educational assets to metro Atlanta’s children, families, caregivers and educators. Responsibilities include reviewing educational assets and making recommendations for how best to implement them, preparing student activities, instructional guides, or educator support materials, and facilitating activities at workshops, camps, educator trainings and family outreach events. Also, interns could help promote education initiatives with social media strategies and tactics.

Preferred Skills: Students are expected to be in pursuit of an education or related degree. Students should have strong written and verbal communication, organizational, interpersonal and classroom management skills. Students should have a desire to learn, a proactive attitude, and an ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize. Those who have a passion and/or background in education and who are familiar with PBS Kids programs will be most seriously considered.
