Engineer Intern

Caprine Engineering, LLC, a growing Birmingham based planning, civil engineering, and consulting firm is seeking an entry level civil engineer for immediate hire. Qualified candidates should have recently graduated in good standing or be preparing to graduate in good standing in the spring of 2019. They should have already passed the Fundamentals of Engineering examination or be prepared to pass it within one year of graduation.

 

The position is for an entry level civil engineer focused in site and infrastructure design with responsibilities including but not limited to civil engineering design, plan production, and beginning project management. Experience with Autocad is highly regarded and will be the primary platform for design and production. Planning, design, and consultation will encompass a broad spectrum of the civil engineering discipline and candidates should have a good understanding of storm water hydraulics and hydrology. There will be interaction with clients, permitting officials, and others in the career field, so positive interpersonal skills are a must.
